Description:

Acenac-N Tablet PR is a pain-relieving medicine. It is used in the treatment of neuropathic pain. It calms the damaged or overactive nerves by acting on the brain, thereby decreasing the sensation of pain. This way it improves your mood and reduces tiredness that can be caused by the pain.

Taking Acenac-N Tablet PR with alcohol may increase risk of stomach bleeding.

Pregnancy interaction:

Acenac-N Tablet PR 100mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

How it works:

Acenac N 200mg/75mg Tablet PR is a combination of two medicines: Aceclofenac and Pregabalin which relieve pain. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever, pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Pregabalin is an alpha 2 delta ligand which decreases pain by modulating calcium channel activity of the nerve cells.
