Interactions / Warnings:

Agyl F 100 mg/300 mg Tablet may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions).

Pregnancy interaction:

Nausea, Headache, Dryness in mouth, Metallic taste, Dark yellow to brown discoloration of urine.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Agyl F 100 mg/300 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Agyl F 100 mg/300 mg Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Furazolidone and Metronidazole which treat stomach and intestine infections. Furazolidone works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Metronidazole kills bacteria and other infectious microorganisms by damaging the DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively.
