Interactions / Warnings:

Spironolactone and alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.

Pregnancy interaction:

Aldoloc 20 mg/50 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Side Effects:

Dehydration, Decreased sodium level in blood, Breast enlargement in male, Decreased magnesium level in blood, Decreased calcium level in blood, Increased blood uric acid.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Aldoloc 20 mg/50 mg Tablet- 10 may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Aldoloc 20 mg/50 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Furosemide and Spironolactone. Furosemide is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Over time, it also relaxes blood vessels, but causes potassium loss. Spironolactone is also a diuretic which conserves potassium, thereby balancing its levels in the body.
