Description:

Amfy V Vaginal gel- 15gm is an antifungal medicine used to treat serious and potentially life-threatening infections caused by different fungal species. The lipid complex form of this medicine is used in patients who do not respond or are unable to tolerate the conventional form of this medicine.

Amfy V 1mg Gel is probably safe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.

Expert advice:

Before you take amphotericin B, inform your doctor if you suffer from diabetes, liver/kidney problem or are on dialysis or have low potassium level in blood. You should monitor your condition through regular laboratory evaluation of potassium, magnesium as well as renal, hepatic and hematopoietic function. Take precautions as amphotericin B may reduce the ability to drive or operate machinery. Tell your doctor if you are or planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.
