Interactions / Warnings:

Taking Amiloride with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.

Pregnancy interaction:

Amifru -40 Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Side Effects:

Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Weakness, Headache, Dehydration, Muscle cramp, Decreased sodium level in blood, Decreased magnesium level in blood, Decreased calcium level in blood, Increased blood uric acid.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Amifru 40 Tablet- 30 may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Amifru -40 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Furosemide and Amiloride. Furosemide and amiloride. They act on different parts of your kidney to remove extra water and certain electrolytes while maintaining the potassium balance in your body.
