Description:

Ampirok 1000 mg/500 mg Injection- 1 is a combination of two antibiotics. It is prescribed to treat various types of bacterial infections. It fights against the infection by killing the microorganisms.

Pregnancy interaction:

Ampirok 1000 mg/500 mg Injection- 1 is probably safe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.

How it works:

Ampirok 1000 mg/500 mg Injection- 1 is a combination of two medicines: Ampicillin and Sulbactam. Ampicillin is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Sulbactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which blocks the action of enzymes produced by bacteria to inactivate amoxicillin. Addition of Sulbactam reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Ampicillin against bacteria.
