Description:

Atb 25mg/ml Injection- 2.5ml is a muscle relaxant used along with general anesthesia to reduce the pain during endotracheal intubation and to provide skeletal muscle relaxation during surgery or mechanical ventilation. It should be administered only by a qualified healthcare professional.

Pregnancy interaction:

Atb 25mg/ml Injection- 2.5ml may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Expert advice:

Consult your doctor before taking atracurium if you any of the following medical conditions: myasthenia gravis (neuromuscular disease characterized by very weak muscles and unusual tiredness) or Eaton-Lambert syndrome (autoimmune disorder characterized by muscle weakness of limbs), electrolyte imbalance, cancer, allergy to other muscle relaxants, recent burn, asthma or other respiratory problems, heart disease, peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage causing pain, tingling, or numbness over hands and feet). Tell your doctor if you are or planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding. Avoid drinking alcohol and do not drive or operate heavy machineries while taking atracurium.

Side Effects:

Bronchospasm, Decreased blood pressure, Skin flushing, Increased heart rate, Urticaria, Wheezing.
