Description:

Atherochek Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of high cholesterol. It prevents your body from making bad cholesterol and raises the levels of good cholesterol. It also provides essential nutrients.

Taking Atorvastatin with alcohol may increase the risk of liver damage.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Atherochek 10 Tablet Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Atherochek Tablet is a combination of five medicines: Atorvastatin, Methylcobalamin, Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) and Folic Acid. Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medicine which works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-CoA-reductase) that is required to make cholesterol. It thus lowers "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises "good" cholesterol (HDL). Methylcobalamin, Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) and Folic Acid provide essential nutrients.
