Interactions / Warnings:

Atrest 25mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.

Pregnancy interaction:

Atrest 25mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Inform your doctor if you are suffering from mild to severe liver disorder, a heart condition known as long QT syndrome and irregular heart rhythm.Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of neuroleptic malignant syndrome characterized by mental changes such as confusion, hallucinations, stiffness in muscles and an increased body temperature.Do not drive or operate machinery as tetrabenazine may cause dizziness.Tell your doctor if you are or planning to become pregnant and/or breastfeeding.

Side Effects:

Nausea, Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), Anxiety, Fatigue, Sleepiness, Akathisia, Depression.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Atrest 25 Tablet- 10 may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
