Description:
Axepta 18mg Tablet is used for the treatment of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), a chronic condition characterized by symptoms such as difficulty in paying attention, impulsiveness, hyperactivity, etc. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 6 years of age.

Axepta Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Pregnancy interaction:
Axepta Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Consult your doctor if you have any of the following medical conditions: heart problems, liver problems, stroke, psychotic problems (hallucinations, mania [unusual behavior due to feeling elated or over-excited], agitation), aggressive feelings, unfriendly or angry feelings, fits, mood swings, suicidal thoughts, experience repeated twitching of body parts. Tell your doctor if you are or planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding. Seek medical advice if you have dark urine, yellow skin or yellow eyes, stomach pain and soreness on right side below the ribs, unexplained nausea, tiredness, itching, feeling of coming down with flu. Do not operate or drive machinery as atomoxetine can make you tired, sleepy or dizzy.

How to use:
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Axepta 18mg Tablet Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How it works:
Axepta Tablet modulates the activity of certain chemical messengers in the brain, which increases attention and decreases restlessness. It is a non-stimulant medicine.
