Description:

Azee 250 Tablet- 10 is a broad-spectrum macrolide antibiotic. This antibiotic is used to treat various bacterial infections of the lungs, throat, skin, nose, and ears. It can be also used with other antibiotics to treat certain infections caused by sexually transmitted organisms like Chlamydia trachomatis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, etc.

Pregnancy interaction:

Azee 250 Tablet- 10 is probably safe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.

Expert advice:

Azee 250 Tablet- 10 will cure your infection and improve symptoms. It may cause an upset stomach. If this happens to you, take it with food. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Diarrhea may occur as a side effect but should stop when your course is complete. Inform your doctor if it doesn't stop or if you find blood in your stools. Do not take antacids 2 hours before or after taking Azee.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Azee 250 Tablet- 10 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Azee 250 Tablet- 10 is a macrolide antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by inhibiting synthesis of essential proteins, which are required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
