Description:

Baclof OD 20 Tablet ER- 10 is a skeletal muscle relaxant that is used for the treatment of spasticity (a condition where the muscles are contracted continuously) in various conditions such as multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injuries, or other spinal cord disorders.

Baclof OD 20 Tablet ER- 10 may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.

Pregnancy interaction:

Baclof OD 20 Tablet ER- 10 may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Expert advice:

Baclof OD 20 Tablet ER- 10 can increase the effects of other CNS depressants (alcohol, barbiturates) medicine. Avoid consuming alcohol when taking the Bacfen, as it may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness. Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with kidney or liver problems. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Baclof OD 20 Tablet ER- 10 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Baclof OD 20 Tablet ER- 10 is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centres in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm without reduction in strength. This improves pain and movement of muscles.
