Description:

Bifosa 35 Tablet is used to treat or prevent weakening of the bones (osteoporosis) caused by menopause or use of steroids. Using this medicine can reduce your risk of breaking bones.

It is generally safe to consume alcohol with Bifosa 35 Tablet

Pregnancy interaction:

Bifosa 35 Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Expert advice:

Bifosa 35 Tablet is best taken without food. You should take it regularly at evenly spaced intervals as per the schedule prescribed by your doctor. Taking it at the same time every day will help you to remember to take it. Do not stop taking it until you have finished, even when you feel better. It may take several days to get the full benefit of this drug. Alenfos 10mg Tablet is only part of a program of treatment that may also include changes to your diet and taking calcium and vitamin supplements.

Side Effects:

Musculoskeletal (bone, muscle or joint) pain, Headache, Heartburn, Difficulty in swallowing.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it.Bifosa 35 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Bifosa 35 Tablet is a bisphosphonate. It acts by suppressing the activity of osteoclasts, cells that cause the destruction of bone, thereby strengthening the bones and minimizing the risk of fractures.
