Biocalcin 100IU Injection- 1ml is a medicine used in the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis. It makes the bones stronger and lowers the risk of fractures. It may also be used to treat Paget’s disease of bone and to quickly reduce calcium levels in the blood.

A: Biocalcin is not a steroid hormone/ peptide hormone/ bisphosphonate. However, Biocalcin occurs naturally in the body. It is also available as a man-made polypeptide hormone
