Description:
Bleocip 15IU Injection is used alone or in combination with other medicines for the treatment of head and neck cancer (including the mouth, nose, throat, etc.) and cancers that affect the skin, cervix or external genitalia. This medicine is also used for the treatment of Hodgkin's disease and other certain types of blood cancers, as well as to treat malignant pleural effusions, a cancerous condition of an abnormal fluid build up in the chest cavity (lungs).

A: Bleocip is used to treat squamous cell cancers, certain types of blood cancers, skin cancers and cancer of the thyroid, bladder, lungs, abdomen or genitals

Q: How does Bleocip cause pulmonary fibrosis?
A: Pulmonary fibrosis (scarring of the tissue of the lungs) is one of the side effects of Bleocip. It is reportedly caused by lack of an enzyme that metabolises Bleocip in the lungs.
