Interactions / Warnings:

Taking Ibuprofen with alcohol increases the risk of stomach bleeding.

Pregnancy interaction:

Brufen MR Soft Gelatin Capsule may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Nausea, Stomach pain, Heartburn, Indigestion, Dizziness, Weakness, Sleepiness, Dryness in mouth.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Brufen MR Soft Gelatin Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Brufen MR Soft Gelatin Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Ibuprofen and Tizanidine which relieve pain and relax the muscles. Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Tizanidine is a muscle relaxant. It works by acting on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles.
