A: Cadotril works by reducding the secretion of water and electrolytes from the intestine. This helps to reduce the amount of fluid loss from the body in diarrhoea.

A: Cadotril does not affect motility as compared to Loperamide. It means less chance of developing rebound constipation.
Q: How long should Cadotril be used?
