Description:
Cantar 16mg Tablet is used alone or in combination with other medicines for the treatment of high blood pressure in adults and children above the age of 1 year. It is also used to treat congestive heart failure, a condition in which the heart is unable to pump enough blood to other parts of the body.

A: Candesartan is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist
Q: Is Cantar safe?
A: Cantar is safe if used at prescribed doses for the prescribed duration as advised by your doctor
Q: Is Cantar the same as atacand?
A: No. Actacand is a prodrug containing Cantar cilexetil which gets hydrolysed to Cantar before absorption in body
