Description:

Carca 6.25 Tablet- 15¬†is a medicine used to treat high blood pressure, heart-related chest pain (angina), and heart failure. It works by relaxing the blood vessels, so blood can flow more easily to the heart. Lowering blood pressure also helps prevent future heart attacks and stroke.

Uses / Indications:

Hypertension (high blood pressure), Angina (heart-related chest pain), Heart failure

Interactions / Warnings:

Taking Carvedilol with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.

Pregnancy interaction:

Carca 6.25mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Expert advice:

May cause dizziness in the first few days. Check your blood pressure 1 week after starting Carca, and inform your doctor if it hasn't improved. May cause fatigue and erectile dysfunction. Can hide symptoms of low blood sugar. Be careful if you're diabetic. Should not be discontinued abruptly as it may increase the chances of a heart attack or other heart problems.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Carca 6.25 Tablet- 15 may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
