Information about Casfung 70mg Injection- 1ml

Description:

Casfung 70mg Injection- 1ml is used for the treatment of uncomplicated varicose veins in the legs, a condition where the veins become large, twisted and swollen when the vein valves do not work properly. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 18 years of age.

Pregnancy interaction:

Casfung 70mg Injection- 1ml may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Expert advice:

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to Sodium Tetradecyl Sulfate or any other inactive ingredients present along with it.

Side Effects:

Erythema, Headache, Breathlessness, Rash, Joint pain, Nausea, Decreased potassium level in blood, Decreased white blood cell count, Increased sweating, Fever, Increased liver enzymes, Itching, Chills, Diarrhoea, Inflammation of a vein, Increased red blood cells, Decreased haemoglobin level in blood.

Casfung 70mg Injection- 1ml kills fungus by preventing them from making their protective covering.
