Interactions / Warnings:

Clonotril Plus 0.5 mg/10 mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.

Pregnancy interaction:

Clonotril Plus 0.5 mg/10 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.

Side Effects:

Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Confusion, Memory impairement, Uncoordinated body movements, Drowsiness, Tiredness, Delayed ejaculation, Anorgasmia (decreased orgasm), Low sexual desire.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Clonotril Plus 0.5 mg/10 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Clonotril Plus 0.5 mg/10 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Clonazepam and escitalopram which have anxiety-lowering and mood-enhancing effects. Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine (BZD) which increases the action of GABA, a chemical messenger that suppresses the abnormal activity of the nerve cells in the brain. Escitalopram is selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) which increases the levels of serotonin, a chemical messenger that improves mood.
