Desirox 250mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Always take deferasirox tablet on an empty stomach by dissolving into a glass of water.Do not chew, crush, break or swallow the tablets as a whole.Deferasirox may cause dizziness. It is advisable not to drive or operate any machinery until you feel normal again.Avoid taking deferasirox if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant or are breast feeding.

Nausea, Headache, Vomiting, Rash, Dyspepsia, Abdominal pain, Constipation, Itching, Increased liver enzymes, Abdominal distension, Diarrhoea.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Desirox 250mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Desirox 250mg Tablet traps and removes excess iron which is then excreted mainly in the stools. This reduces the risk of organ damage.
