Dexona tablet is used to treat various inflammatory conditions, allergies, auto-immune conditions and to manage symptoms and side effects of certain types of cancer. It contains Dexamethasone which belongs to the category of medicines known as corticosteroids. This medicine acts by reducing the formation of inflammation-causing substances in the body. Dexona tablet should be taken with food or after food. Dexona tablet should preferably be taken at the same time every day as per the direction given by the doctor. It should be avoided by pregnant women and should be given to children under medical supervision. Long term therapy should be avoided in children.
