Description:

Diapyrin 250 mg/250 mg/5 mg Tablet is a combination medicine that helps in relieving pain. It is used to relieve pain and inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and osteoarthritis. It is also used to relieve fever, muscle pain, back pain, toothache, or pain in the ear and throat.

Taking Aspirin+Paracetamol / Acetaminophen+Codeine with alcohol can cause liver damage.

Pregnancy interaction:

Diapyrin 250 mg/250 mg/5 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.

How it works:

Aspirin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with anti-platelet action. It works by preventing platelets from sticking together which decreases the formation of harmful blood clots. Paracetamol / Acetaminophen is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever. Codeine is an opioid analgesic ( pain reliever). It works by decreasing the perception of pain by blocking the transmission of pain signals to the brain.
