Side Effects:

Edema (swelling), Abdominal bloating, Anxiety, Irritability, Depression, Muscle pain.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Dinofirst Tablet- 14 may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Dinofirst 2mg Tablet is a progestin (female hormones). It works to prevent pregnancy by preventing the release of an egg from the ovary or preventing fertilization of the egg by sperm (male reproductive cells). It also may work by changing the lining of the uterus (womb) to prevent the development of a pregnancy.

A: Dienogest has an antiandrogenic activity and mainly act by blocking the action of testosterone

Q: Is dienogest as effective as leuprolide or triptorelin?
A: Apart from its indication as oral contraceptive, dienogest is also indicated for endometriosis (a condition resulting from the appearance of endometrial tissue outside the womb and causing pelvic pain, especially associated with menstruation). Dienogest is as effective as leuprolide and triptorelin in the treatment of endometriosis.
