Interactions / Warnings:

Taking diclofenac with alcohol can increase your risk of stomach bleeding.

Pregnancy interaction:

Dolentia MR 8 mg/50 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.

Side Effects:

Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Heartburn, Stomach pain / epigastric pain, Loss of appetite.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Dolentia MR 8 mg/50 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Dolentia MR 8 mg/50 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Thiocolchicoside and Diclofenac, which relieve pain and relax the muscles. Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centres in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles. Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
