Interactions / Warnings:

Eauris 2mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.

Pregnancy interaction:

Eauris 2mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Expert advice:

Works well in schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. You may feel dizziness and drowsiness when you start taking Eauris. For the first week, avoid activities that require you to be alert. Eauris may cause weight gain, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and high blood sugar. Tell your doctor if you have any unusual thoughts or behavior, inability to control muscle movements, or fever and excess sweating. Some people may experience severe muscle problem on taking high doses or on long-term use. Tell your doctor if youâ€™re one of them.

Side Effects:

Headache, Akathisia, Dystonia, Sleepiness, Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), Parkinsonism.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Eauris 2mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Eauris 2mg Tablet is an atypical antipsychotic. It works by modulating the action of certain chemical messengers in the brain that affect thoughts.

A: Using Vicodin (acetaminophen and hydrocodone), Ambien (zolpidem) or diazepam together with risperidone may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty concentrating. Tramadol may increase the risk of seizures when given with risperidone

A: Yes. Taking ibuprofen/ trazodone/melatonin/ Tylenol (acetaminophen) with risperidone does not cause any harmful effects. Please follow your doctor's advice regarding its use
