Description:

Eliwel 75mg Tablet- 10 is an effective medicine used for the prevention of migraine attacks. It can also be used to treat neuropathic pain (nerve pain that may be caused by nerve damage or chronic diseases such as diabetes) in adults. It is also used to treat depression in adult patients

Uses / Indications:

Depression, Neuropathic pain, Migraine

Interactions / Warnings:

Eliwel 75mg Tablet- 10 may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.

Pregnancy interaction:

Eliwel 75mg Tablet- 10 may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Expert advice:

The main dose should be taken at night as this drug may produce drowsiness or sleepiness. It can take 4 to 6 weeks for Depline to start working. You should continue the treatment for at least 6 months after you feel better to stop depression from coming back. If your doctor asks you to stop Depline, you should reduce the dose slowly over 4 weeks. You should not discontinue it abruptly. Avoid driving or operating machinery as it may decrease alertness. Avoid consuming alcohol when taking the Depline, as it may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness. The addiction/dependence potential of Depline is very less. It may be extremely dangerous in overdose.

Side Effects:

Sleepiness, Blurred vision, Increased heart rate, Dryness in mouth, Constipation, Weight gain, Difficulty in urination, Orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering of blood pressure on standing).

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Eliwel 75mg Tablet- 10 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
