Description:

Endomal SP Tablet is a combination medicine that is prescribed to treat malaria. It fights against the infection by preventing the growth of the parasites inside the body.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Endomal SP Tablet Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Endomal SP Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Artesunate, Sulfadoxine and Pyrimethamine which treat malaria. Artesunate and Pyrimethamine are antiparasitic medicines which work by increasing the levels of haeme in the blood, a substance toxic to the malarial parasite. This kills the parasite and stops the infection from spreading. Sulfadoxine is an antibiotic which stops the bacteria from producing folic acid, a nutrient required for bacterial multiplication.
