Interactions / Warnings:

Episol Plus 30 mg/100 mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.

Pregnancy interaction:

Episol Plus 30 mg/100 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.

Side Effects:

Nausea, Vomiting, Vertigo, Nystagmus (involuntary eye movement), Double vision, Sleepiness, Anemia (low number of red blood cells), Peripheral neuropathy (tingling and numbness of feet and hand), Gingival hyperplasia, Softening of bones, Unusual hair growth.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Episol Plus 30 mg/100 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Episol Plus 30 mg/100 mg Tablet is a combination of two antiepileptic medicines: Phenobarbitone and Phenytoin. It controls seizures or fits by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
