Interactions / Warnings:

Etizola Plus 0.5 mg/5 mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.

Pregnancy interaction:

Etizola Plus 0.5 mg/5 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Side Effects:

Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Confusion, Memory impairement, Uncoordinated body movements, Drowsiness, Tiredness, Anorgasmia (decreased orgasm), Delayed ejaculation, Low sexual desire.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Etizola Plus 5 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Etizola Plus 0.5 mg/5 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Etizolam and escitalopram which have anxiety-lowering and mood-enhancing effects. Etizolam is a benzodiazepine (BZD) which increases the action of GABA, a chemical messenger that suppresses the abnormal activity of the nerve cells in the brain. Escitalopram is selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) which increases the levels of serotonin, a chemical messenger that improves mood.
