Expert advice:

Used either prior to surgery for fibroids or for long-term treatment of fibroids to decrease their size, to stop or control bleeding, and to improve the red blood cell count. Considerably reduces or stops your menstrual bleeding within the first 10 days of treatment. Notify your doctor if you continue to have heavy bleeding despite taking Fibroprist. Your menstruation will be restored within 4 weeks of stopping Fibroprist. If you are currently taking hormonal contraception (birth control pills), use an alternate method of contraception (e.g. condom) as Fibroprist is likely to decrease the effectiveness of some hormonal contraceptives.

Side Effects:

Absence of menstrual periods, Headache, Endometrial hyperplasia.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Fibroprist Tablet- 7 may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
