Information about Inzit TL 80 Tablet

Description:

Inzit TL 80 Tablet is a combination medicine which may be used for the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension). Patients are advised to maintain a strict exercise and diet regimen along with this medicine to get the best possible effect. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients less than 18 years of age.

Uses / Indications:

Hypertension (high blood pressure)

Interactions / Warnings:

Taking Telmisartan with alcohol may excessively lower the blood pressure.

Pregnancy interaction:

Inzit TL 80 Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Please consult your doctor.

Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any liver or kidney problems. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor for advice before taking this medicine. You also need to tell your doctor what other medicines you are taking especially those used to treat high blood pressure or heart conditions.

Nausea, Altered taste, Diarrhoea, Stomach upset, Ankle swelling, Headache, Dizziness, Weakness, Numbness of extremity, Edema (swelling), Flushing of skin, Increased potassium level in blood, Decreased blood pressure.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Inzit TL 80 Tablet Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Inzit TL 80 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Benidipine and Telmisartan which lower blood pressure effectively. Benidipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB) and Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). They work by relaxing the blood vessels and making the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body.
