Interactions / Warnings:

Taking Aspirin with alcohol increases the associated risk of stomach bleeding.

Pregnancy interaction:

Ismorin 30 mg/75 mg Capsule is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.

Side Effects:

Nausea, Stomach pain, Diarrhoea, Headache, Fatigue, Dyspepsia, Upper respiratory tract infection, Dizziness, Itching, Flushing of skin, Increased bleeding tendency.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Ismorin 30 mg/75 mg Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Ismorin 30 mg/75 mg Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Isosorbide Mononitrate and Aspirin which prevent future episodes of angina. Isosorbide mononitrate dilates the blood vessels of the body. As a result, work load on the heart is reduced which in turn decreases heart-related chest pain. Aspirin is an antiplatelet medicine. It prevents the platelets from sticking together and decreases the formation of harmful blood clots.
