Description:

Lacom-CV 200mg/5ml/28.5mg/5ml Syrup- 30ml is a combination medicine used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. Amoxycillin interferes with the growth and division process of the bacterial cell wall while clavulanic acid ensures extended anti-bacterial activity. This combination is used to treat bacterial infections of the lungs and airways, middle ear, sinuses, skin, and the urinary tract.

How it works:

Lacom-CV 200mg/5ml/28.5mg/5ml Syrup- 30ml is a combination of two medicines: Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid. Amoxicillin is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which blocks the action of enzymes produced by bacteria to inactivate amoxicillin. Addition of Clavulanic Acid reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Amoxicillin against bacteria.
