Description:

Lapp 2.5 mg/30 mg/2.5 mg Suspension is a combination medicine used in the treatment of common cold symptoms such as runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, watery eyes and congestion or stuffiness. It thins the mucus in the nose, windpipe and lungs, making it easier to cough out. It also relieves pain and fever.

Interactions / Warnings:

Taking Ambroxol+Paracetamol / Acetaminophen+Levocetirizine with alcohol can cause liver damage.

Pregnancy interaction:

Lapp 2.5 mg/30 mg/2.5 mg Suspension may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

How it works:

Lapp 2.5 mg/30 mg/2.5 mg Suspension is a combination of three medicines: Ambroxol, paracetamol and levocetirizine which relieve common cold symptoms. Ambroxol is a mucolytic which thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever. Levocetirizine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing.
