Description:

LN Met 50 Tablet ER- 10 is a medicine used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). It is a combination of two medicines that effectively controls blood pressure when a single medication is not effective. By lowering the blood pressure, it helps in preventing future heart attack and stroke.

Uses / Indications:

Hypertension (high blood pressure)

Interactions / Warnings:

Taking Metoprolol with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.

Pregnancy interaction:

How it works:

LN Met 50 Tablet ER- 10 is a combination of two medicines: Cilnidipine and metoprolol which lower blood pressure effectively. Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker which works by relaxing blood vessels while metoprolol is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart to slow down the heart rate. Together, they make the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body.
