Loxep 25mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.

Pregnancy interaction:

Loxep 25mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Do not start or continue loxapine and consult your doctor if you have history of fits (seizures), heart or brain related diseases, respiratory or lung problems, or if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding. Do not drive or operate any machinery because you may feel sleepy or dizzy while being treated with loxapine.

Side Effects:

Sleepiness, Orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering of blood pressure on standing), Dryness in mouth, Abnormality of voluntary movements, Parkinsonism, Weight gain, Akathisia, Dystonia, Constipation.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Loxep 25mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
