Description:

Lutanin 5mg Tabletis a synthetic progestogen used to treat miscarriages and preterm labor in women. It is not recommended for use in female children under the age of 16 years.

Treatment of Premature Labor ,Treatment of Recurrent miscarriage

Lutanin 5mg Tablet can be taken with or without food, but take it at the same time to get the most benefit. It should be taken as your doctor's advice. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. Swallow the tablets whole with a glass of water. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you. Do not miss even a single dose, if in any case, you missed dose, take it as soon as you remember or better to skip the missed dose and continue with regular dosing.

Side Effects:

Edema (swelling), bloating, headache, depression, fatigue, altered libido, irregular menstrual cycle, gastrointestinal disturbances, and excessive hair growth

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Lutanin 5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Lutanin 5mg Tablet is a progestin (female hormones). It works to prevent pregnancy by preventing the release of an egg from the ovary or preventing fertilization of the egg by sperm (male reproductive cells). It also may work by changing the lining of the uterus (womb) to prevent the development of a pregnancy.
