Interactions / Warnings:

Taking Mefenamic acid with alcohol increases the risk of stomach bleeding.

Pregnancy interaction:

Mefatin Spas 10 mg/250 mg/10 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Nausea, Diarrhoea, Constipation, Dryness in mouth, Headache, Drowsiness, Weakness, Muscle pain, Dizziness, Blurred vision, Sleepiness, Nervousness, Stomach upset.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Mefatin Spas 10 mg/250 mg/10 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Mefatin Spas 10 mg/250 mg/10 mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Famotidine, Mefenamic Acid and Dicyclomine. Famotidine is an H2 blocker (antacid). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn. Mefenamic Acid works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Dicyclomine is an antispasmodic which works by relaxing the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms). In doing this, it relieves cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort.
