Description:

Mentolift 50 MG Tablet is an antidepressant which is used to treatment of central nervous system disorders. It is used with caution in adults and children due to the risk of suicidal thoughts. This medicine is not recommended in the patients with a known history of allergy.

Mentolift Plus 0.25 mg/50 mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.

Pregnancy interaction:

Mentolift Plus 0.25 mg/50 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.

How it works:

Mentolift Plus 0.25 mg/50 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Alprazolam and sertindole which treat schizophrenia. Alprazolam is a benzodiazepine (BZD) which works by increasing the action of GABA, a chemical messenger which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in brain. Sertindole is an atypical antipsychotic which works by modulating the action of certain chemical messengers in the brain that affect thoughts.
