Interactions / Warnings:

Taking Propranolol with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.

Pregnancy interaction:

Migitus 40mg/5mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Weight gain, Slow heart rate, Tiredness, Depression, Drowsiness, Abnormal dreams, Cold extremities.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Migitus 5mg Tablet SR- 10 may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Migitus 40mg/5mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Propranolol and Flunarizine which prevent migraine.tPropranolol is a beta blocker and Flunarizine is a calcium channel blocker. They work by stabilizing the reactive nerve cells and increasing the threshold to migraine activation. They also inhibit cortical spreading depression (CSD- electric waves that move across the brain and cause pain and inflammation).
