How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Mixtard 30 Suspension for Injection 100IU/ml- 3ml may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Mixtard 30 Suspension for Injection 100IU/ml is a combination of two insulin preparations: Insulin Isophane / NPH and human insulin / soluble insulin. Insulin Isophane / NPH has a prolonged duration of action while insulin regular has a fast onset of action. Together, they ensure rapid and consistent sugar control by facilitating reuptake of sugar in muscle and fat cells and suppressing the production of sugar in the liver.
