Pregnancy interaction:

Mizolast 200mg Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.

Expert advice:

If you are taking Mizolast orally, then it is best taken with food and do not take antacids that contain magnesium along with it. Ask your doctor for help in selecting a suitable antacid. Take Mizolast only as prescribed by the doctor because in some cases, miscarriages caused by Mizolast are likely to be incomplete which may result in serious medical complications, leading to hospitalization, surgery and possible infertility. Notify the doctor immediately if excessive bleeding occurs.

Side Effects:

Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Uterine bleeding , Infection following abortion, Uterine cramps.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Mizolast Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Mizolast 200mg Tablet increases contractions of the uterus to cause abortion. It can also prevent post-delivery bleeding due to poor contraction of the uterus.
