Description:

Movon-MR Tablet is a combination of three medicines used in the treatment of muscular pain. It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). It also relaxes the muscles and provides relief from stiffness or spasm.

Taking Movon-MR Tablet with alcohol may increase risk of stomach bleeding.

Pregnancy interaction:

Movon-MR Tablet 100mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Before taking it, you should let your doctor know if you have a history of ulcer or bleeding in your stomach, high blood pressure, or have any trouble with your heart, kidneys, or liver. Let your doctor also know about all the other medicines you are taking because they may affect, or be affected by, this medicine.

Side Effects:

Vomiting, Nausea, Heartburn, Stomach pain, Diarrhoea, Loss of appetite, Weakness, Sleepiness, Dryness in mouth.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it.Movon-MR Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Movon-MR Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Aceclofenac, Paracetamol / Acetaminophen and Tizanidine which relieve pain and relax the muscles. Aceclofenac is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) and Paracetamol / Acetaminophen is an antipyretic (fever reducer). They work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that cause pain and fever. Tizanidine is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles.
