Interactions / Warnings:

Multizine Plus 2 mg/50 mg/5 mg Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.

Pregnancy interaction:

Multizine Plus 2 mg/50 mg/5 mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Side Effects:

Nausea, Constipation, Dryness in mouth, Sedation, Weight gain, Abnormal heart rhythm, Orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering of blood pressure on standing), Urinary retention, Increased prolactin level in blood, Dizziness, Blurred vision, Nervousness.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Multizine Plus 2 mg/50 mg/5 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Multizine Plus 2 mg/50 mg/5 mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Trihexyphenidyl, Thioridazine and Trifluoperazine. Trihexyphenidyl is an anticholinergic which works on the nervous system and corrects some of the chemical imbalances that cause Parkinson's disease and certain side effects occurring during antipsychotic treatment. Thioridazine is a typical antipsychotic. It works by blocking the action of dopamine, a chemical messenger in the brain that affects thoughts and mood. Trifluoperazine is a typical antipsychotic. It works by blocking the action of dopamine, a chemical messenger in the brain that affects thoughts and mood.
