Information about Myaza Injection- 1

Description:

Myaza Injection- 1 is used in the treatment of some kinds of blood cancer. It is used for the treatment of adult patients with all subtypes of Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS). It may be also used to treat other conditions, as determined by the doctor.

Uses / Indications:

Blood cancer ,Treatment of Myelodysplastic syndrome

Pregnancy interaction:

Myaza 100mg Injection is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.

Expert advice:

Before taking it, tell your doctor if you have liver, or kidney problems or are taking any medicines to treat infections. Many other medicines can affect, or be affected by, this medicine so let your doctor know all medications you are using. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

Side Effects:

Headache, Dizziness, Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), Vomiting, Nausea, Decreased potassium level in blood, Loss of appetite, Decreased white blood cell count, Nasopharyngitis (inflammation of the throat and nasal passages), Anemia (low number of red blood cells), Diarrhoea, Febrile neutropenia, Decreased white blood cell count (neutrophils), Constipation.

How to use:

Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self administer.

How it works:

Myaza 100mg Injection interferes with the growth of DNA and RNA of the cancer cells by substituting their building blocks. It prevents the cancer cells from growing and multiplying.
