Interactions / Warnings:

Taking Nebivolol with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.

Pregnancy interaction:

Nebistar-SA Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Side Effects:

Sleepiness, Headache, Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk), Ankle swelling, Slow heart rate, Tiredness, Palpitations, Nausea, Edema (swelling), Constipation, Cold extremities.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nebistar-SA Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Nebistar-SA Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Nebivolol and s-amlodipine which lower blood pressure effectively. Nebivolol is a beta blocker that works specifically on the heart to slow down the heart rate while s-amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker which works by relaxing blood vessels. Together, they make the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body.
