Interactions / Warnings:

Taking Propranolol with alcohol may have additive effects in lowering your blood pressure. You may experience headache, dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, and/or changes in pulse or heart rate.

Pregnancy interaction:

Neurex 2.5 mg/20 mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.

Side Effects:

Confusion, Memory impairment, Drowsiness, Slow heart rate, Tiredness, Uncoordinated body movements, Nightmare, Cold extremities.

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Neurex 2.5 mg/20 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

How it works:

Neurex 2.5 mg/20 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Diazepam and Propranolol.tDiazepam is a benzodiazepine. It works by increasing the action of GABA, a chemical messenger which suppresses the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in brain. Propranolol is a beta blocker which blocks the action of certain chemical messengers on the heart and blood vessels. This reduces heart rate, blood pressure, and strain on the heart.
