Nicorex 5mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Expert advice:

Nicorex reduces attacks of chest pain (angina). You must continue taking it as advised for a foreseeable future. May cause dizziness and lightheadedness. If this happens to you, do not drive or use machinery. Nicorex may interact with other medicines (eg. sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil) and cause a major drop in blood pressure. Your doctor may adjust the dose depending upon the improvement in symptoms and presence of side effects such as hypotension (low blood pressure). Nicorex may increase potassium levels in the blood. Avoid taking potassium supplements and potassium-rich foods such as banana and broccoli.

Side Effects:

Headache, Nausea, Vomiting, Weakness, Dizziness, Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk).

How to use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nicorex 5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Nicorex 5mg Tablet reduces the workload of the heart. As a result, heart muscle does not need as much blood and oxygen supply. This reduces the frequency and severity of angina attacks.
